I purchased this for a 3-6 environment. I am AMI trained for ages 3-6. Most of the materials I own are from Nienhuis circa 2001. At the time time their standards were similar to Maria Montessori "only the best for the child." I definitely recommend this material.

There was a bead missing, otherwise was okay.
